What is that black thing is clinging to all surfaces in my apartment?

I just moved into his apartment before about 2 months. Over the past few weeks I have noticed a accumilation this black, oily things everywhere. I have only one air installation (wall unit in living room). I only run it for about 30 minutes in the morning and 4-5 hours at night. I checked the filter of it also is covered with this black stuff. I sleep only with celing fans and fan movements, I keep the air conditioner at night. I noticed that my nose looked very congested More recently, it became dry and bleeding a little, but I chalk it up to allergies. After that night my boyfriend stay over night and day with me in the apartment. He said that his throat was itching and my nose ran less blood. I went into the bathroom to clean up my nose and looked in tissue, it is black the residue out of two my nostrils. My friend checked the nose and it is the same black sludge. Anyone know what is this?

Sounds like mold. Thoroughly clean air and Keep it clean.
